Spend an evening under the stars to celebrate International Astronomy Day.
On Saturday, April 29th the Sarnia Chapter of the Royal Astronomical Society of Canada is presenting a special stargazing event at the museum. Drop-in between 8:30 and 11:00 p.m. as the group shares their observations of the night sky. At 10:00 p.m. the group will host a ‘Laser Tour of the Sky’ highlighting spring constellations and other stellar objects.
The stargazing event is free to attend. The museum will remain open and admission will be by donation for the duration of the evening. This event is weather permitting and may be cancelled if the weather creates unsuitable visibility for stargazing.
