Discover the night sky with the Oil Museum of Canada and the Royal Astronomical Society of Canada - Sarnia Centre!
Join us for a free stargazing event on Saturday, July 26. The Museum will be open, so you can explore inside before heading out to view the stars.
Catch the sunset with us at 8:30 p.m., or drop in for the main stargazing beginning between 9:30 and 10:00 p.m. RASC-Sarnia Centre will provide telescopes and binoculars to use with professional assistance, and portable projector screens will display live astrophotography images.
Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets. Bug spray, long sleeves, and pants are recommended to protect against mosquitos. Anyone with a telescope, binoculars, or camera and tripod is welcome to bring their own.
